number-3Numbers are one of God's language and way of communicating visions, meanings and stories to prophets and visionaries. God uses numbers to relay messages to His children and hardly talks in long sentences. Understanding number will help those looking to sharpen their prophetic understanding and skills so that God can speak to them more and they can understand what God is saying better.

The No. 3

The No. 3 is a number that shows "completion" or "completeness" to a lesser degree than the no. 7. This number derives from the fact that it is the first of four(4) spiritually perfect numerals (7, 10 and 12). There were also 3 righteous patriarchs before the flood: Abel, Enoch and Noah. There are 27 books in the New Testament, which is 3x3x3, or completeness to the third power.

The No. 3 Describing GOD

God is described, in the very beginning of the book of Revelation, as a Being "which is, and which was, and which is to come" (Revelation 1:4). God is expressed in 3 (three) persons: Father, Son, Holy Spirit. There were only three individuals who say Jesus' Glory/witnessed Jesus’ transfiguration on Mount Hermon: John, Peter and James God's throne is in the 3rd heaven.

The No. 3 in Prophecy

Three (3) is the most commonly found in the book of Revelation.
  • An angel is charged to cry three woe's to those who live on earth to warn them of more trials to come (Revelation 8:13).
  • The dead bodies of the Two Witnesses will not be buried but will lie openly in Jerusalem for three (3) days before they are resurrected.
  • Three unclean spirits will be allowed to deceive the whole world to FIGHT the returning Jesus Christ (Revelation 16:13 - 16).
  • The new Jerusalem, created by God for placement on a new earth, will be shaped like a square with three gates on each side (Revelation 21:13).

The Cross

  • Jesus prayed three times in the Garden of Gethsemane before His arrest.
  • He was placed on the cross at the 3rd hour of the day (9 a.m.) and died at the 9th hour (3 p.m.).
  • There were 3 hours of darkness that covered the land while Jesus was suffering on the cross from the 6th hour to the 9th hour.
  • Three is the number of resurrection. Christ was dead for three full days and three full nights, a total of 72 hours, before being resurrected on Saturday, April 8, just before sunset.

CONCLUSION

There is more to the number 3 but the crux of the number 3(three) as seen above is "COMPLETENESS, WHICH OFTEN ENSURES OR INTRODUCES A RESURRECTION." Depending on what the lord is speaking to you about, you can understand Him better. Find more information on the number 3 here.

The Spiritual Meaning of No. 3

May 28, 2015

The four living creatures were seen by Ezekiel ( OT) but also in Revelation (NT). It is important to know what they symbolize and how we can understand God better. There have been different speculations as to what they mean in entirety or just their heads. if you are still confused or don't even have an idea of what they are, this article will help you to make a decision on what to believe. First, it is obviously clear that the Twenty-four (24) elders represent the twelve tribes of Israel and the twelve apostles. The four living creatures, however, are as follows:

Idea/Revelation no. 1

  • The four living creatures represent universal creation; on some accounts, the four evangelists.
  1. The one with the face of a man is St Matthew, who starts his book with the human genealogy of Christ;
  2. The lion stands for St Mark: his Gospel begins with the voice crying in the wilderness (which is where the lion's roar can be heard);
  3. The ox is a reference to the sacrifices in the temple of Jerusalem, which is where St Luke begins his account of Christ's life
  4. The eagle represents St John, who soars to the heights to contemplate the divinity of the Word.

Revelation no. 1 (Simplified)

Lion, Calf, Human Being, Eagle: these symbolize, respectively, what is noblest, strongest, wisest, and swiftest in creation. Calf: traditionally translated “ox,”. The Greek word refers to a heifer or young bull. These four creatures have been used as symbols of the evangelists Mark, Luke, Matthew, and John, respectively. Thus the four living creatures represent all of creation as simplified below:
  1. Lion - wild animals
  2. Ox - tamed animals
  3. Man - humans
  4. Eagle - birds

Idea/Revelation no. 2

The Four living creatures are Four Angels mention In the Book Of Enoch...Chapter 40.....[Chapter 40]
1 And after that I saw thousands of thousands and ten thousand times ten thousand, I saw a multitude 2 beyond number and reckoning, who stood before the Lord of Spirits. And on the four sides of the Lord of Spirits I saw four presences, different from those that sleep not, and I learnt their names: for the angel that went with me made known to me their names, and showed me all the hidden things. 3 And I heard the voices of those four presences as they uttered praises before the Lord of glory. 4,5 The first voice blesses the Lord of Spirits for ever and ever. And the second voice I heard blessing 6 the Elect One and the elect ones who hang upon the Lord of Spirits. And the third voice I heard pray and intercede for those who dwell on the earth and supplicate in the name of the Lord of Spirits. 7 And I heard the fourth voice fending off the Satans and forbidding them to come before the Lord 8 of Spirits to accuse them who dwell on the earth. After that I asked the angel of peace who went with me, who showed me everything that is hidden: 'Who are these four presences which I have 9 seen and whose words I have heard and written down?' And he said to me: 'This first is Michael, the merciful and long-suffering: and the second, who is set over all the diseases and all the wounds of the children of men, is Raphael: and the third, who is set over all the powers, is Gabriel: and the fourth, who is set over the repentance unto hope of those who inherit eternal life, is named Phanuel.' 10 And these are the four angels of the Lord of Spirits and the four voices I heard in those days.
Revelation/Idea no. 2 does not provide much evidence for us to make a decision on this because it focuses on the angels, while Idea no. 2 brings the focus back to Christ, which is the beginning and end of the gospel.

Idea/Revelation no. 3

The four living creatures can be identified as the last priest king given understanding of the most high, and only Lord, God's will.
  • Lion- king,
  • Ox- priestly sacrifice
  • Eagle (as it is soars)- one of understanding (includes the many eyes within).
  • They four are the one mightiest angel (Chayot), who authored the small scroll; sweet in the mouth, but bitter in the belly.
IDEA no. 3 bears some truth in it  considering that the symbols as we know it are true (e.g lion = King, etc), however, it still needs more pointers for us to accept the entirety of it.

CONCLUSION

The four living creatures are represented very well as seen in Idea no. 1, however it is left for us to search the scriptures and get a better understanding of them. It is not enough to hear someone else's revelation but what God has to say to you about it. See: Description of The Four Living Creatures Do you have any other ideas or revelations to help us understand better? Your turn....

Symbols of The Four Living Creatures & The 24 Elders

May 27, 2015

Ezekiel's Visions[/caption]
The four living creatures seen by Ezekiel and John guarding the throne of God reveal some aspects of God to us; and these symbols helps us to understand/know God more.
The living creatures seen by John are the same seen by Ezekiel except that the wheels were not present in the vision seen by John because the scene is in heaven.
"And this was their appearance: they had a human likeness, but each had four faces, and each of them had four wings. Their legs were straight, and the soles of their feet were like the sole of a calf’s foot. And they sparkled like burnished bronze. Under their wings on their four sides they had human hands. And the four had their faces and their wings thus: their wings touched one another. Each one of them went straight forward, without turning as they went." (Ezekiel 1 vs 5-9)

The Twelve Tribes

It is amazing how we can even see the four living creatures from the formation of the 12 tribes. In the camping and marching order of Israel in the Wilderness, there was a fixed relation of the Twelve Tribes to the Tabernacle. In camp the Tabernacle rested in the middle. The Camp of Judah, composed of 3 Tribes, rested on the East, with its Standard bearing the figure of a LION. The Camp of Ephraim, composed of 3 Tribes, rested on the West, with its Standard bearing the figure of an OX. The Camp of Reuben, composed of 3 Tribes, rested on the South, with its Standard bearing the figure of a MAN. The Camp of Dan, composed of 3 Tribes, rested on the North, with its Standard bearing the figure of an EAGLE. Thus the Tabernacle in the centre of the Camp, the place of God's Presence, was surrounded and protected by Standards that bore the figures of Ezekiel's and John's "Living Creatures." We can even see how the four living creatures or their faces can also represent the four corners of the earth (north, east, south, west) as seen in the camp formation. Click here to find out what the four living creatures symbolize
In any rate, the characteristics of the four living creatures are as follows:
  1. Four faces
    • The face of a man
    • The face of an ox (left)
    • The face of a lion (right)
    • The face of an eagle
  2. Four wings (two with which they covered their body)
  3. Eyes before and behind
  4. Feets like that of a calf  (2)
  5. Hands like that of a man (2)

Symbols of The Features of Four Living Creatures (Cherubim's)

  • Four Faces symbolize the Four corners of the earth (no. for the earth: north, east, west, south)
  • Wings obviously symbolize something used for flying high
  • Eyes before & behind them means that there is nothing hidden from them

Features of Four Living Creatures (Seraphim's)

The Seraphim's appear to have six (6) wings instead of 4 as seen with the Cherubim's and we would imagine there is a reason for that. Howbeit, both the Cherubim's and Seraphim's are referred to as living creatures, and not angels.

What Does This Tell us About GOD?

First, the sight of these living creatures is not exactly pleasant or beautiful per se. This does not only go to show that God is beautiful just the way He is but also that many times things that are considered ugly or scary may be the most beautiful things in His sight.
This also tells us that though God does not need guards, He displays an orderly kingdom with guards of fire all around His throne.

The Four Living Creatures Before The Throne of GOD

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Jesus Christ. He is one and the same. The Spirit of GOD/Jesus resides in us. Our body is His temple - both body or the heart and actual physical body. Some people think that because He swells in our heart then that is occasion to sin with our physical body but this is wrong. All of you both body, soul and spirit belongs to God, no exceptions.
The Holy Spirit is our comforter sent by God to dwell in us, around us and with us 24/7. "I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever..." John 14:16
So if the Spirit of God is God/Jesus, then God/Jesus dwells with us 24/7 in the Spirit although God's throne is in heaven and seated on His right hand is Jesus Christ.

Function of The Holy Spirit

The Spirit of God enforces the word (Jesus Christ) of God, which is Jesus Christ. The Spirit of God cannot work without the word and the Father. They are all one and the same performing several different functions.

Ministry of The Holy Spirit

"I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him." John 1:32 (KJV)
Many people see the Holy Spirit as a dove but He is not a dove, He is a person. The scripture above is only to describe how He descended NOT that He actually took the form of a dove. Dove's descend down, calmly and are peaceful. It's just like saying "mount up with the wings of an eagle", this is a metaphorically saying with ingrain meaning. Suffice it to say that He can take any form He wants but it is important to know that He is a person and nothing close to a bird or an animal.
The Holy Spirit is a person but can also transform into whatever is needed to get the work done. When the word of God is spoken, He takes it and enforces it. He can accomplish the word through wind, fire, sound of many waters, water, flood, heat, cold, rain, etc. He works hand in hand with the word (Jesus Christ) and as such cannot be seperated.

God Speaks

God can speaks through the Holy spirit by a still small voice, in a dream, in a vision, through a persons vocal cords, by ministration, etc. His ministry is not limited to the above but these are just the basics.

The Holy Spirit

May 24, 2015

son of GodThe son of GOD is JESUS CHRIST. There is no mistaking this fact and truth. Those who are yet to come to accept this truth have either not seen Him or know Him. It is easier for some to accept GOD but not Jesus Christ His son. But make no mistake, you cannot go to God without Jesus.

Sadly, Religion says that you can go to God through any means but don't be fooled by this.
"....I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6

So Who is This Jesus?

Jesus is our savior. He came to die for our sins and to give us eternal life. Every man who is born into this world needs a savior. We are not god of ourselves but made like God in His image and likeness so Man, as a son of God, cannot be separated from God. But all have sinned and called short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). Yes, we are sinners...but we are not sinner because we sin. We are sinners because he were born into it and carry the nature of the first man Adam. Now Jesus came to break that connection and reconnect us back to God our Father. Thus when we receive Christ and are reconnected back to God, we cannot be separate entities from God for He that joins his spirit with God is ONE SPIRIT with GOD. (1 Corinthians 6:17) Jesus is the SON of GOD, THE WAY THE TRUTH & THE LIFE. Accept Him into your life and see the difference! If you have not received Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, click here now to pray this prayer.

The Son of God

This is a powerful visual of the vision Ezekiel saw as this confirms what John later saw in the book of Revelation. This gives a glimpse of God's glory. His glory, as seen through the beasts, may not always look as beautiful as we would expect but that gives us an idea of how beautiful God is, completely out of man's imagination.

He cannot be separated from man's definition of "ugly".  In God's definition, His beautiful may look ugly to man.

The eyes alone are scary looking but this is God Almighty!

Ezekiel 1 + 10: Prophet Ezekiel's Vision of God & The Four Beasts

ChartGodhead_1Father is seen as God Himself in the Trinity, although Jesus is the where the fullness of the Godhead resides in bodily form.

"For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form..." Colossians 2:9
This helps bring your mind to seeing how God is three person in one. If Father God is God himself and Jesus is the fullness of the Godhead then they are both one and the same.
Basically you cannot separate the Father from the Son, neither can you separate the Holy Spirit from the Spirit of Jesus as we call Him sometimes. He is one and the same but performs different functions and as such needs to be seen in three persons.
He wants you to see Him as your Father, your heavenly Father, And if you never had a biological Father, or had one that abused or mistreated you and didn't train you like a Father should, then He is saying to you come because I am your all round Father.
Father GOD is all loving, faithful, sits as judge of the whole earth, judges right, everything He does is correct and right. He never makes mistakes or fails! Let Him be your Father!

If you do not have a basic understanding of how God is the Father, the Son and the Spirit, all at the same time, you probably want to watch this video.

Who is God?

The Lord is the lifter of my soul

The Lord is the shelter of my head

In Him is all my hope,

In Him is all my reasons to live

Though life’s storm may bring debris of sadness

Though debris of hopelessness and discouragement lingers

Though the wind that blows may not be for me

The lifter of my head is forever with me

My God, my God

He is always by my side

The light of my heart

My sign, my seal, my life, my joy

Oh lifter of my head, my soul, and my spirit

It is in you that I live

Peter & John's Voice taken from Acts 3:6:
Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

How God Expresses Himself: Voice

Let's examine Paul's ministry that inspired the seven sons of Sceva.
Acts 10:11-12 " And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them."

Paul's ministry was accompanies with signs and wonders. He has such power that anything that came in contact with him became healed. Even things that came in contact with him were taken to the sick and lame and they became healed.

This is one way God uses things around us, in us and with us to heal the sick.

The staff is taken from Moses Staff. We use this as an example. Taken from Exodus 14:16:
"But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea."
From the above scripture, we see how God used Moses Staff to express Himself. When Moses was faced with the challenge of parting the Red Sea, he simply stretched out his hand in obedience and the Lord expressed Himself! (Exodus 14:15-31)

Namann & the Dirty Water
2 Kings 5:14: "Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean."
God continues to use everything He created. The Jordan river was very dirty whereas there were clean pools to heal people. When Namaan was asked to go to the River Jordan, in the book of 2 Kings 5, he said, 'Look I have a better river in my country. Why should you ask me to go to that dirty Jordan water?' (2 Kings 5:12)

The above scripture shows that God can also use dirty things to fix those that think they are clean, the foolish things to confound the wise, the poor to confound the rich, because the battle is not always for the strongest, and the race is not always for the swift.

The sound of Pentecoast: It was a sound that God used to express Himself and then the Holy Spirit came upon them but first there was a sound and a rushing mighty wind!
Acts 2:1-2: "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting."

How God Expresses Himself: Sound

September 2, 2014

It’s important to know God’s character,. Why? It gives us discernment. If we don’t know the character of God, how can we ever know who is from God and who is not from God?

 Justice:

God is a God of justice. It means He will always make anything that’s wrong right.

Goodness:

God is good—this fact never changes.

Holiness:

God is holy. In the Greek, to be holy is to be righteous—or to be right. Our God is a Holy God - He is thrice HOLY.

Characteristic of GOD

As we can see in man, there are aspects of us that tell someone else the kind of person we are. Although nothing can be compared to God in His fullness, there are certain aspects of Him that reveal  His nature, His person and who He is. Some of them are as follows:

  1. Love: He is a loving God
  2. Joy: He rejoices over us
  3. Peace : He is peaceful
  4. Calm

Aspects of GOD

Simply put, Grace is the person of Jesus, the son of God, He is the fullness of the GODHEAD.

Grace

There are three occurrences of the term "Godhead" in the King James Version (Acts 17:29; Romans 1:20; Colossians 2:9). Three different Greek words are used, but each one means “divinity.”

While the word “trinity” is not found in the Scriptures, the concept is found there from beginning to end. There is no question about it—the doctrine of the Trinity is divinely revealed biblical truth: our one God exists in three Persons.

Simply put, God is three (3) in one.

The GODHEAD

Nature itself, speaks of God, His Glory and aspects of Him.

  1. The Earth Speaks of His Glory
  2. Flowers
  3. Colors
  4. Music

Nature Reveals Aspects of GOD

GOD is indeed too big to be comprehended in totality through man's way of thinking or man. But if we would take the time to examine our physical and spiritual body parts, we would begin to see how they reveal aspects of GOD.

  1. Head
  2. Forehead
  3. Temple
  4. Eyes (Matthew 6:22)
  5. Nose/ Nostril (Ezekiel 16:12)
  6. Mouth/Lips
  7. Ears
  8. Neck
  9. Shoulders / Shoulder-blade
  10. Hands
  11. Elbow
  12. Fingers
  13. Palm of Hand
  14. Breasts / Chest / Nipples
  15. Stomach
  16. Waist / Hips
  17. Thighs
  18. Knees
  19. Legs
  20. Angle
  21. Feet
  22. Toe
  23. Entire Body

They all speak of and revel aspects of GOD!

Body Parts That Reveal Aspects of GOD

There are so many animals, if not all, that reveals aspects of God that learning about Him becomes easier than we could ever imagine. It only takes paying attention to the things around us, animals, nature, man, the things He uses, and we are closer to knowing Him more everything.

The list is endless but some of these animals are as follows:
  1. Eagles
  2. Cow (as seen in Revelation 4:6-9)
  3. Lion
  4. Man (because man is not an animal but made in the likeness of God, you will find more information on man by clicking here

Animals That Reveal Aspects of GOD

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth (Genesis 1:26)
This was how man came to being. God first spoke man into existence and then He formed man.

Of course this also includes the forming of Eve out of the ribs God took from man but this is further discussed with diagrams in the next series.

Man

In Ephesians:8-9, we see how God chooses to use grace rathe than works. He does as He wills. Luke 3:8 even says that if we refuse to do God's work, He can raise up stones to do it. He is simply magnificent!
Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. (Luke 3:8)
“I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.” (Luke 19:40)
God can use anything to express Himself, at anytime, in any place. He is not bound by time or tradition. It doesn’t matter what the situation is, He is God all by Himself!
Remember “Man has the ability to work, the Holy Spirit works as He will” -TBJ

God can use any medium to express Himself
